Location of Anjuna Beach :
Anjuna beach is located at the distance of 18 km from the capital city of Goa called Panaji in India. It lies in Bardez Talkuka and is very close to the Mapusa town. It is popularly known as the freak Capital of the world.

The boundless blue water and and palm fringed area promises the most relaxing holidays at the Anjuna beach in Goa. Today Arjuna beach has become one of the most popular beach hangouts in India. It is one such place in Goa which is quite famous for all night dazzling parties.

Anjuna Beach was discovered sometime back in the 1960's by the group of travelers who used to party hart at this point during the dry season.

One of the most delightful activities that you can enjoy at the Anjuna Beach is bathing and swimming as the sea is calm in Goa. You can also enjoy sun bathing at the beach. Wednesday Flea Market :
During the Wednesday Flee market locals and tourists from all over gather at the Anjuna Beach. History of the Wednesday Flee Market can be traced back to the 1970's where the Hippies used to sell their articles while leaving the place. It is one such place where you can have fun and can go shopping for all kind of souvenirs. Flee market is held every Wednesday, where everything under the sun can be found. You can look for the second hand cameras, cellular phones, bike, and jeweleries.

You may also find the exciting range of Gujrati, Kashmiri, and Tibetan handicrafts work at this place. Visitors can also get the trendy haircut done from this market. Apart from that you can try out the delicious Goan cuisines. You can also look for the trinkets and clothes sold by the Tibetan, tribal and Lamani women from all over India. Wednesday Flee market offers the ultimate entertainment. Tourists can even go for the elephant ride. The market open around 8 am and closes at 6 pm in the evening.

Historical Trip :
Tourists can make a excursion trip to the magnificent Albuquerque Mansion. It was built in the year 1920 and presents an unique architectural art with classical balconies. Than you can pay a visit to the Mascarenhas Mansion, the most interesting historical monument of Goa. Than comes the Chapora Fort which gives the splendid view of the Anjuna and Vagator beach. The fort is well preserved and well maintained. It was built by the Muslim rulers before it was seized by the Portuguese invaders.
