Getting there : By air: The nearest airport guwahati airport (176 Km), from where one can catch bus or taxi taking 4-5 hours.
By rail: the nearest railhead is barpeta road (20 km).

The capital of Assam, Guwahati, is 176 km from the Manas National Park. Guwahati is very well connected to two of the metro, Delhi and Kolkata via air and rail ways. Guwahati has daily domestic flight from other part of the country, too. From Guwahati, Bansbani Lodge as well as the national park is 4-5 hours drive. One can either catch local bus from Guwahati or can even hire taxi.

Facilities
Bansbani Lodge is located on the gate of Manas National Park. The nature vacation lodge faces the forest hills from one side, and the lush green tea garden from another. Each of the 16 rooms of the lodge are double bedded and have ample of space. Every rooms are equipped with writing cum dressing table, hanging cupboard and a sitting area of two. Attached toilet with each room make guests maintain their privacy.

The general facilities like round the clock power back up, laundry service, TV, telephone and medical aid are meant to put guests at comfort. The lodge has a lobby and even a library having good stock of books on wildlife. The dining room presents an excellent home cooking and serves foods comprising cuisine of Assamese, North Indian, Chinese and Continental.

Discovering Manas National Park, the sole tiger reserve of Assam, is a great joy. And Bansbani nature lodge tries their utmost to heighten this wildlife joy.
