Bageshwar shrine : Lying 33 km far from Almora, majestic temple complex of Jageshwar is hardly one hour drive. The temple has immense architectural and religious importance. Taking a dip in nearby Nandini and Surbhai streams must be on your card.

By Air : The nearest airport is at Pantnagar (127 km). From there one can hire taxi or can even catch bus or jeep for Almora.
By Rail : Kathgodam (91 km) is the nearest main railhead connected to all prime rail line of the country. Reaching Almora from Kathgodam is approx 3 ½ hours drive. Taxis, jeeps and buses are easily available from the railway station.
By Road :State Highway, connected to National Highway 87, crosses through Almora. From Delhi (365 km), one can reach there in Almost 9 hours drive.
