Reaching there
By Air : Kullu- Manali airport is just 10 km away from Kullu. The airport has regular flights for Delhi, Chandigarh and Shimla.
By Rail : Kalka (86 km) is the main railhead near Chail which has super fast trains to metro cities like Delhi and Kolkata. The best way to reach Chail via train is through Kalka mail, which leaves Kolkata for Kalka, and reach Delhi (old Delhi railway station) at 10:50 pm, and reach Kalka at 5 am.
By Road :The Kalka-Shimla route from Kalka via Kandaghat leads one to Chail. After reaching at Kandaghat, one needs to detour. From Kandaghat, it takes one and one- half hour to reach Chail.
