Detailed Itinerary
Lying close to Indo-Nepal border and 182 Km North West of Lucknow, one of
the major Indian city, this park is well connected to all places. On the
first day of your tour, you will be landing at Delhi International
airport from where you will take a domestic flight for Lucknow. 4 hours
drive from Lucknow will take you to the Dudhwa National Park. You will check
into the Dudhwa Forest Rest House. Close to the main office range of the
park, this rest house is an ideal place to dwell while on wildlife tour.
In the evening, you will set foot into the park while taking Jeep Safari.
The Jeep Safari will be giving you a clear overview of this dense forest. No
wonder if you get wild animals like Swamp Deer and Wild Dog frisking in mess
after hearing jeep's snoring. The full day visit to the park knocks on
next day (2nd day). After getting up early in the morning, you will take
Elephant Safari which we will arrange for each of you.
Visiting any of National Parks early in the morning gives one the best time
to view wildview. Roaming in the park will give you better birding and
wildlife viewing opportunity. Housing approx 400 species of migratory and
domestic birds, this park will give avid bird watchers a fine treat. Several
species of birds like Swamp Partridge, Great Slaty Woodpecker, Bengal
Florican, plenty of painted storks, sarus cranes, owls, barbets,
woodpeckers, minivets and many more. Banke tal, one of the most beautiful
lakes of the park is home to plenteous water birds.
The park nestling more than one hundred Tigers is a good place to enjoy
Tiger spotting. Though, the dense forest often keep tourists short of Tiger
viewing, but being patient will let you see and film the grand view of
Tigers. In the afternoon (
2nd day), we will move to few of watch
towers of the park to see Rhinoceros. After the wonderful but tiresome day,
we will arrange bonfire and barbecue in the evening to put you at comfort
and share the happening of the day with your companions. Wining, dancing and
dining in your group around the bonfire will be a wonderful refreshment of
your body and mind.
The next morning (on
3rd day), you will again be getting up early
and will set out to the park. The morning walk into the park will present a
very beautiful forest and wildlife view. Clicking your digi cam and moving
your handy cam in different angles will keep you busied for hours. As you
return to the forest rest house after morning walk, you will be packing your
luggage for taking a drive to Lucknow. From Lucknow, you will be flying back
to Delhi where you will catch your international flight and will move forth
to your destination.
