Detailed Itinerary
As you land in Delhi, you will soon be directed to catch a domestic flight
for Kullu (Bhunter airport). From Kullu, you will drive to Manali, and will
check into a luxury hotel, booked in advance by us. Afternoon, you will get
out of hotel to enjoy the sightseeing holidays in Manali. Manali, better
known as the Switzerland of India, is an excellent place for family
holidays. Its marvellous natural landscapes comprise the beautiful snow
capped peaks, still and clear Beas river, fruit orchard and series of Alpine
and Deodar trees.
After you have got bewitched with the beauty of Manali on
1st day,
next day (
2nd day) you will set out to see the Rohtang Pass. The
pass connecting the Kullu valley with Spiti and Lahaul valley of Himachal
owns very beautiful sightseeing places. You will love to walk along with the
bank of Dashohar lake amidst the snow capped peaks of mountains.
Again, you will be visiting the Rohtang pass next day,
3rd day,
when you will be moving to Batal. Lying in the foothills of Kunzum pass. The
panoramic view of the pass will enchant you with its beauty of mountains and
lakes. En route, Bara Shigri Glacier will let you witness the solid ice
swimming on its surface. Overnight stay at Batal will be in tents which is
another adventure while on trekking tour. After you have passed Kunzum pass,
you will began your trekking on
4th day as you take 4 hour trekking
and reach to Chander Tal, better called Lake of Moon. The beautiful and
serene lake, and amazing view of Samudra Tapu Glacier give a good deal of
amazement to trekkers.
The next two days (
5th and 6th day), you will be dwelling at the
Chander Tal, and enjoying its unique natural milieu. You will love to stay
for three overnight in the tent amidst the Himalayan snow covered peaks. As
you finish the two full days rest or excursion at the Chander Tal, on the
7th day, you will trek back to Kunzum pass where you had started
your trekking. A small drive from Kunzum pass will lead you to Manali by the
evening. It will be the last night of your tour which you will enjoy staying
at the hotel after four overnight stay in tents.
The next morning (
8th day), you will be transferred to Bhunter
airport, and will fly to Delhi, from where you will board your flight taking
you to your onward destination.
