Detailed Itinerary
The meddle of city tour and wildlife view will keep you
exalted
Day 1st to Day 5th
Upon your landing at the Bangalore airport, our representative will be
there to welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. After you have freshen
up and taken lunch, you will be on half day sight seeing tour of the city.
Bangalore, being a global village, will let you roam through many places
like Lalbagh Gardens, Cunbbon Park, The Government Museum, Venkatappa Art
Gallery, Bull Temple, and Ganpathi Temple.
On the
2nd day, you will be taking morning drive to Mysore. En
route, you will halt at Srirangapatana, lying at the Bangalore - Mysore
Highway. This place was the capital of Tipu Sultan, and houses his splendid
historical fort. By the time of lunch, you will arrive at Mysore, and will
have enough time to take a small visit to the town. The places which will
catch your attraction here will be Chamundi Hills, Mysore Palace and Lalita
Mahal Palace. In the evening, you will visit to Vrindavan Garden which, with
its pleasant milieu, will give you a fine equilibrium.
Next day (
3rd day ), you will be on full day visit of Ranganathittu
Bird Sanctuary, situated on the bank of Cauveri River. This famous Bird
Sanctuary houses native avian habitants as well as many species of migratory
birds. The Birding Tour will let you come across the birds like Snake Birds,
Darters, Spoonbills, River Tern, White Ibis, Egret, Heron, and Kingfisher.
Even, you will be taking Boat ride to all of its six islets where you can
watch birds in their flocking.
Next morning, on the
4th day of your tour, you will be driving to
Nagarhole National Park. After arriving at Nagarhole, when your lunch is
over, you will leave the resort for game viewing in the park. The Safari
Tour will let you know the Jungle ambience better so that, next day, you
could explore the unique wildlife intensely.
Next day (
5th day), you will have full day to enjoy the thrill,
adventure, and fun while enjoying the excursion at the park. The abundance
of wildlife at world famous Nagarhole National Park will give you some of
the unmatched views of wildlife, especially of the Asiatic Elephant and
other animals like Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog, Sambhar, Deer, Barking Beer,
Jackal, and Porcupine. Your overnight stay will be at the wildlife resort.
Wildlife is pervaded - everywhere
Day 6th to Day 10th
Early in the next morning (
6th day), you will be driving to
Bandipur. Afternoon, you will be taking a game viewing Safari Tour of the
National Park. Next day,
7th day of your tour, your wildlife visit
to Bandipur National Park reaches its full extent as you have full day to
explore the park. Lying in the lap of Nilgiri Hills and Westren Ghats, this
National Park will offer you to see one of the best habitats of Elephants
and Gaurs. Besides, the rich natural landscape will give you a very diverse
wildlife view.
In the morning of
8th day, you will leave for a drive to Ooty. in
the way, you will stop at Mudumalai National Park to explore its wildlife.
Rich fauna of this sanctuary has made it one of the popular wildlife
destination. You will love the adventure of spotting here wild animals like
Tiger, Dhole, Striped Hyena, Golden Jackal, Sloth Bear, Asian Elephant,
Gaur, Sambhar Deer, and Cheetal. After visiting the park, you will again be
back to drive for Ooty. After overnight stay at hotel at Ooty, next day (
9th
day), you will have plenty of time to visit this beautiful hill station.
Your sightseeing tour of Ooty will include places like Botanical Garden,
Pykara Falls, and Dodabetta.
Next day (
10th day), you will be on drive to Cochin, and will reach
there by evening. The evening will be full of leisure. Next day (
11th
day), by afternoon, you can visit to the city which will include
sightseeing places like Santa Cruz Cathedral, St. Francis Church, Pallipuram
Fort, Art Complex, and Hill Palace Museum. In the evening, you will have
opportunity to take Back Water Boat Cruise at the coast of city. After it,
you will indulge in watching the traditional Kathakali dance which will
fetch you a pack of new experiences.
Feel the romantic potpourri of Wildlife, Boat ride, and
Beaches
Day 12 to day 16th
As the
12th day starts, you will leave Cochin by taking drive to
Periyar. At Periyar, afternoon, the very first thing you will enjoy is Boat
Ride at Periyar Lake which will give you a splendid overview of the park.
The full extent of your visit to the park will come next day (
13th day)
when you will be taking a full day visit to the park. This park is said to
be one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries of India. The park will
offer you the best place to see Elephant in wild. Morning and Evening Boat
Ride at the Periyar lake will fetch you the finest glimpse of wildlife as
the period of dusk and dawn make animals and birds to dwell at their natural
habitats. Your two night stay at Periyar will be at wildlife resort which
will provide you a suitable milieu to experience the wildlife view at its
best.
Next morning (
14th day), you will be on your way to Varkala, a
coastal town of Kerala, where you can find cliff just adjacent to The
Arabian Sea. In the evening, after you reach Varkala, you will love roaming
through its beaches. This place also houses the 2,000 year old
Janardanaswamy Temple which makes this city to be called as Benaras Of The
South. Next morning,
15th day of your tour after staying overnight
at the hotel at Varkala, you will move to Trivandrum, the evergreen city of
India. Afternoon, you will have plenty of time to roam through the city. The
city tour will include the visit of its important places like Sri
Padmanabhaswami Temple, Kanakukunnu Palace, Koyikal Palace, Aruvikkara Dam,
and Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel at
Trivandrum.
The
16th day will be the last day of your South India Wildlife
Tour. After you have taken breakfast, our representative will transfer you
to the airport where you will fly to your onward destination.
