Deatiled Itinerary
Kolkata, capital of West Bengal, is the nearest airport from Sundarban.
After landing at Kolkata International airport on the
1st day of
your tour, you will travel to Gosaba taking you almost 4 hours. At Gosaba,
you will be taking boat ride. After you get off the boat, a short ride by
local ricksaw will take you to the entrance of the Sunderban forest. Before
you go deep into the forest, afternoon, you will explore its forest museum.
Later, roaming through the dense greenery will make you aware of its rich
assets as you might encounter some of its wild habitants.
Proud to house one of the largest tropical evergreen forest, roaming in the
Sundarban National park on
2nd day will bring full day exploration
of its rich scenic nature possession. Being the breeding house of hundreds
of species of birds, numerous wild animals and many species of evergreen
trees, you will see here one of the unmatched wildlife view. Easily, you can
watch here wild habitants, such as Axis Deer, Jungle Cat, Fishing Cat, Wild
Boar, Mongoose, Monkey, Estuarine Crocodile and Lizard.
Besides, the full day Boat Cruise in the national park will give you a pack
of glimpse of its world famous Royal Bengal Tiger. The well off national
park will give you a wholesome opportunity to indulge in several Eco
activities like Birding, Game viewing, Wildlife photography, Boat ride and
spotting the Royal Bengal Tiger.
In the evening, after you are back to wildlife resort, we will try to make
the evening full of entertainment. The local songs performed by some of the
local folk singer will please you immensely. While you enjoy the program, we
will be arranging bonfire for you to keep you warm. Overnight stay at the
wildlife resort will put you in close touch of wildlife.
The next day, which is
last day of your weekend getaway, you will
visit a local nearby village, Rangabelia. The village actively associated
with Tagore Society For Rural Development project will provide you the true
portrayal of villager's living and life style. Afternoon, you will be
leaving the wildlife resort for Kolkata. At Kolkakta, we will transfer you
to the International airport which will make you fly to your destination.
