Unlike Eastern Ghats, Western Ghats are continuous range of mountains. Starting at South of the Tapti river (near the border of Gujrat and Maharastra), Western Ghats cover 1600 Km, and pass through states like Maharastra, Goa, Kerala, Karnataka and Tamilnadu. River Ghats
Har Ki Pauri is the major pilgrimage attraction in the city of Haridwar, in Uttaranchal. Located on Bank of Ganga, it is considered as extremely sacred where the footprints (Charan) of Lord Vishnu (Hari) are found.
